How does it work?

It’s simple – go to the Occasions page to select your ecard design, enter the relevant contact details, personalise your message, add an optional donation, and send. You can then sit back and relax, while our virtual postie sorts out your delivery! Visit our How it works section to learn more.

We'll be adding more designs and occasions over time, so keep an eye out for any new surprises to send to your friends and family.

How can I find out more about Friends of the Earth?

Friends of the Earth is a grassroots environmental campaigning community. From our campaigners and lawyers to local groups and supporters, we push for change on causes that matter to you. Find out more about Friends of the Earth and the work we do.

What happens to personal data?

We only ever use a recipient's details to send them a link to their card. They won’t receive any further communications from Friends of the Earth.

What happens once I’ve sent my ecard?

Once you’ve sent your eco-friendly surprise, you’ll be emailed a link to your unique page to view the ecard you sent and all your past orders. Your surprise will be sent when you've scheduled it or within 15 minutes if you selected to send it straight away. On your unique orders page, you'll also find a link for each of the ecards you've sent. You can send this link directly to your recipient via a different channel as well if you'd prefer.

Can I send an ecard to more than one person at a time?

Yes! You can send ecards to up to 10 people at a time, and you can personalise your message and the delivery details for each recipient. If you make a donation to support our work when sending multiple ecards, you'll only be charged once.

What if I want to change the details of my ecard once it's been scheduled?

Once you've scheduled your surprise you won't be able to make any changes to it. If you really need to cancel your order, please contact our Supporter Relations Team and they'll help you.

How do I know if my ecard has been sent?

In your confirmation email, you’ll receive a link to your unique page where you’ll be able to view all your past orders. The order status will update to “Sent” once it’s been processed by our system and is out for delivery with our virtual postie.

What if my ecard doesn't arrive?

Please give your ecard a little while to arrive, just in case our virtual postie gets a bit delayed. If your recipient still hasn't received their surprise 30 minutes after the expected delivery time, please ask them to check their junk email folder. If it's still nowhere to be found, please contact our Supporter Relations Team and they will help you.

I’ve had a problem sending my ecard, how can I get in touch?

We’re really sorry that you’ve encountered a problem. Please get in touch with our Supporter Relations team so we can help resolve it.

Payment and donations

Can I send an ecard for free?

Absolutely. They're accessible for everyone, so you can send one for free or make it a surprise gift by adding an optional donation.

Where does my donation go?

Thank you for your generous donation, which will go to Friends of the Earth Charitable Trust. It will support our vital campaigns to protect the wellbeing of people and planet, including our work to fight climate chaos.

How can I make a payment?

We can process payments via card or Paypal.

Do I have to show recipients that I've made a donation?

It's completely up to you. On the donation step of personalising your ecard you can select whether you'd like to display your donation on your ecard or not.
